Getting Here

Highleigh is a hamlet, approached by quiet, country roads. There are many ways to approach, but the easiest for the first time is via Birdham. There is also a useful shop, The Birdham Stores slightly further along the road, on the right.

From the north or west, Take the A286 'Witterings' turn off the A27 at the roundabout immediately south of Chichester. Follow this road for 3.2 miles, past the turning to Chichester Marina, and you will enter 'The Birdham Straight'. Just before Birdham and almost opposite the Premier Motorhomes/Lansdale Marine showroom, turn sharp left into Sidlesham Lane, signposted 'Sidlesham and Almodington'.  After 0.6 miles, take the first left, into Mapson's Lane, just after a white house at the junction, signed to Highleigh & Sidlesham and follow this country road for 0.7 miles until you come to the sharp right turning into Highleigh Road at rather a blind lefthand bend.

Pass through the hamlet for about half a mile and just past the sign for 'Tony Partridge Autos' and Hope Cottage on your left, you will see the wall of Sunnybrook Barn, which is at right-angles to the road. Turn through our gates, into the drive. We try to keep the gates closed to keep the rabbits out, but if we know your approximate arrival time, will open the gates!

From the Goodwood or east, turn off the A27, towards Selsey, go through Hunston and when you get to Sidlesham, turn sharp right directly opposite the pub, The Anchor. After 1/2 a mile, take the first left into Highleigh Road and drive south through Highleigh and follow the directions above.
